The Unexamined Life is Not Worth Living - Socrates

Gun and Fames

Not quite sure what to put here to be honest. 'Fun and Games' is a bit of a misnomer. It's really just an extension of the archive section, except possibly with more of a 'web-based' emphasis and less of a 'downloading' emphasis.

For now, here's a selection of links to things that amuse me, also links to friends' web-sites, etc. Hope to add more soon!

Things I do

  • Pond Life - Unfettered by the bounds of taste, decency, or the geneva convention on human rights, this is tongue-in-cheek rock-pop at its most shameless. We've had to stop due to geographical awkwardness but may return...

Web Links

  • Panto-Soc - Bristol University's friendliest society and also probably the strangest... Although i'm not helping run the website any more (sobs...)
  • homestarrunner.com - random yet hilarious. particularly the older stuff - see the "strong-bad emails", e.g. "Dragon" and "crazy cartoon".
  • Weebl's Stuff - variously entertaining cartoons.
  • Goats In The Shell - Comedy group wot I am in, or at least was before I moved to London. Like Pond Life, closed for refurbishment at the moment.

Friends' Web Pages

  • Glyn Collinson. The guitar-playing physicist.
  • Tim Newman. Very good at physical comedy.
  • Rob Egginton. Computer Scientist and Mr Panto / Improv.
  • Ruth Underwood - generally good egg.
  • Iszi Lawrence - Iszi may be a female stand up but she promises that she won't mention female issues. Period. That's her joke for which I do not claim credit.
  • Adam Crook. Me housemate this year
